Storyboard
This storyboard shows all shots of the non-linear sequence from our trailer.
1. Shows the opening shot from behind the psychologists shoulder which is the first shot of our trailer and what it opens with. Over the shot is the psychologists dialogue which is "how have you been Michael".
2. This shows a front shot of the psychologist writing on his notepad we cut out his head in the shot as we didn't want him to have an identity and wanted him to remain inconspicuous. This would give hints that this scene is played out in his head and that the psychologist was just an extension of himself.
3. This is a shot of the Michael the protagonist, its a side angled shot which is is supposed to represent his stress at the situation, although it has little going on in it we felt it was important to include it to break up the non-linear sequence and giver the trailer more substance.
4. We ten revert back to a similar shot to that of number 2, however the difference is in the hand movement as it coincides with his dialogue and as the psychologist gets more aggressive his hand movements do as well. This is because he begins to threaten and accuse Michael.
5. This is the final shot of in the linear sequence in the trailer and displays a fast paced zoom shot at Michael leading into a transition shot, its supposed to represent the realisation and shock, the shots then moves into a shot of him being confronted by the Yuri his is supposed to show who the psychologist really was.
Overall we only chose to include 5 linear shots while the dialogue was used throughout the trailer, this is because the linear sequence isn't that exciting and was relatively the same so it was unnecessary for use to use all of it.
